An EV charger runs on a circuit of its own, so it needs a spare space on the board, and the main switch has to be able to carry the extra load.

Does the drive out to Aintree change the price?
Yes, the travel is part of the price. We look at the job first, then give you one written price covering the travel, parts and labour before any work starts. If a real problem turns up behind a wall, we stop and agree any change with you first.
Do you cover Aintree?
Yes. We come out from Werribee to Aintree and to Rockbank next door. Ring us or send the form, and we’ll find a time to come out.
Can a fan and a light run from the same point?
Yes. A fan with a light built in usually runs off one point, and the two can be on separate switches or a remote. We fit ceiling fans in bedrooms, living areas and alfrescos.
Can you add power points to a new house?
Yes. Where there’s no power nearby, the cable has further to go, so we look at where the nearest circuit is first.
Can you check the board before I buy a charger?
Yes. On the visit we look at the board and your supply and tell you what a charger would need, so you can choose one that suits.
