Who you’re dealing with

Quotes

On most jobs we look at it first. Then you get a written price for the work the quote describes, parts and labour together. Anything it doesn’t describe is a separate price.

If we find something the quote didn’t cover

It can happen. We stop, tell you what we’ve found and what it would cost, and you decide before we go any further. We don’t do extra work and put it on the invoice afterwards.

Access and power

We need to get to the work, and on a lot of jobs the power has to go off for a while. We’ll tell you before we start.

Certificates

Where the work needs a Certificate of Electrical Safety, we issue it and the copy is yours to keep.

Your rights under the law

Our work comes with guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law that can’t be excluded. If our workmanship caused the problem, those guarantees cover it. Ring us.

What we’re not responsible for

Equipment you supplied yourself, work somebody else did, and faults that were already there and outside what you asked us to look at. If we notice something unsafe we’ll tell you about it either way.

Cancelling

Ring us as early as you can. If we’ve already bought parts for your job, we’ll talk to you about those.

The law of Victoria, Australia applies to these terms.
